12/7/2020 Our lab received an Appel Seed Grant from the Center for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at UCLA for developing antisense oligonucleotide drugs against DMD. We are excited to join the fight!
10/19/2020 Our collaborative project with David Eisenberg and Vaithilingaraja Arumugaswami’s labs got funded by UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine – Broad Stem Cell Research Center. We will develop drugs targeting amyloids formed by a SARS-CoV-2 viral protein.
10/1/2020 We welcome Evan Hurlow as an intern and collaborator. Evan will work on develop small-molecule drugs targeting RNA. Evan is a graduate student in Patrick Harran‘s lab at UCLA and a trainee of the NIH-funded Chemistry and Biology Interface program.
